Some Old Guy's

Writings

Movie Script

This is the part where I tell how I waited

So long for somebody like you

I felt misunderstood and alone and unwanted

Wishing for something that's true

And this is the part where I say that I never

Believed in love at first sight

But you proved me wrong as you came over

The stars shining out of your eyes

We could stay up all night talking

And we could spend all day sleeping

Together in each other's arms

Or we could go to far off places

With unfamiliar tastes and faces

Doing whatever we want

Now this is the part where I say that I have

Become a far better man

Than I was before the days I knew you and

I never had much of a plan

And this is the part where I talk of the future

Can't wait for tomorrow to come

Excited as hell as if 'm in a fever

For when we're together as one

We could stay up all night talking

And we could spend all day sleeping

Together in each other's arms

Or we could go to far off places

With unfamiliar tastes and faces

Doing whatever we want

But this is the part where the plot takes a twist

Though it's obvious from a mile away

You're already with the one that you wished

And with him you'd rather stay

So this is the part that I really don't know

What comes or what happens next

Can't write anymore out of fear and of sorrow

For what has not happened yet

Do I trust what my eyes can see

Or follow what my gut tells me

Where will I crash and burn

I wanna write the next lines

But I wanna take some time

Just let fate make the next turn
