Some Old Guy's

My eyes just like my heart was wearily unbound

Then out of the blue a picture of your face I had found

You had me captured instantly I cannot look away

And set me on a course when I thought I'd lost my way

Those eyes that speak to me in the silence of a stare

Drawing out all my pains and laying my soul bare

Those lips inviting me and make me beg for a kiss

'Cause if I didn't it's half my life that I should miss

Like that fabled mirror for hours you held my gaze

That I wonder if in life I got to see your face

I know you'll take my breath away I'll not at all survive

For that look, that smile, that touch, that kiss, I'll gladly give my life
