Some Old Guy's

Midnight TV

The sins are not forgotten

Just buried in the dirt

But never deep enough

That they couldn't bring the hurt

And they'll all act like a compass

If you take your eyes away

To point you in directions

You never thought you'd take

Hold my hand through the worst of it

And lead me to a place where I wait

For the rest of the past to catch up

With all of the mistakes that I made

The parts that we'd been playing

Were not the ones we chose

And we're constantly reminded

That we all must play the role

Now we live one of our choosing

But deep inside we know

We keep to our illusions

And we're never letting go

Hold my face and tell me again

You won't leave me alone with my mind

Where my ghosts and my demons all sit

Waiting for who you'll leave behind

Don't leave me behind

Don't brush me aside

Take all that you need

Just take all of me

Just take all of me

Just take all of me

Just take all of me

Just take all of me
